Interests include: migration, printed matter, primates, movies, community spaces, contemporary art, AIDS art, cave art, outsider art, comparative literature, graves, cultural ecology, lakes, bogs, beaches, books about catastrophe, books about lesbians, books about menopause, books about design, and Bananagrams.
1 Mister Magazine is an independent publication that supports artists with expansive creative and critical practices. Founded in 2021, Mister has published the debut features of dozens of artists online and in print. It was a finalist for the CLMP Firecracker awards. Its third issue, which will focus on themes of heritage, cultural ecology, and art, is forthcoming.

3 Poppy’s research centers on diasporic Jews in Latin America. This spring, they will go to Buenos Aires to conduct fieldwork for their thesis. They recently won the Alice M. Brennan award for their work in the humanities.
